Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the Mind of Mercy platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care
Mind of Mercy provides peer support, education, and access to counselors, but is not a substitute for emergency medical or psychiatric care. If you are in crisis or at immediate risk, please call your local emergency number or the crisis line listed on this site right away.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a legally binding agreement to register for an account. Certain programmes may have their own eligibility criteria, which will be stated where applicable.
4. Community Conduct
Our community spaces — including forums, circles, and anonymous features — are meant to be safe and respectful. We do not tolerate harassment, hate speech, or content that encourages self-harm or harm to others. Content may be moderated or removed, and accounts may be suspended for violations.
5. Donations and Payments
Donations and paid programme fees are processed through third-party payment providers. Donations are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this platform, including text, graphics, and course materials, belongs to Mind of Mercy or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.
7. Limitation of Liability
Mind of Mercy and its volunteers, counselors, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
